Farming
Vegetable gardens development is SPDC’s major activity; vegetable gardens had been promoted in collaboration with partners so far. Items such as: chain link fences, concrete line wells, garden equipments, tools, seeds, irrigation technology.
Financial Inclusion
Rural Financing also having been promoted to better serve the rural populace with the RURAL Banks
Farm Equipment
Supply of agricultural farm implements and inputs, (sine hoes, ox/horse carts, ploughs pesticides, seeds, cereals, garden equipments, tools, vegetable seeds, etc.) to rural farmers (mostly women).
Financial Inclusion
Micro-credit group lending schemes provides access to seed capital on credit terms for food processing & preservation, petty trading, tie & dye and soap making for our women members.
Education
Adult and Non-Formal Education, functional literacy training in; numeracy & literacy, soap making, tie& dye, batik, food processing & preservation and small scale business training).
Youth Empowerment
Our beneficiaries are either send to individual trading schools or attend one of our numerous community skills training we offer throughout the country.
